I walked into work this morning and got hit with a huge "I don't need this sheeeaaaat no more". I planned or retiring sometime this year. Well, as of May 1 I am officially retired. I contacted a local shop that is interested in my parts plus some other stuff I have laying around.

Sometime in May I will buy a fifth wheel travel trailer and I am going to be on the road full time for a long time.

I had another guy turn me down because of the money order thing. I went to Paypal but it looks like it is set up to pay people. I know I didn't look hard enough. What do you have to do to receive payments thru Paypal? Do I even have to register?

I appreciate your honesty and understand the learning curve of PayPal. As others stated in your thread asking about PayPal it’s a protection thing for both parties. Unfortunately there are a lot of dishonest people making a living hiding in the shadows of the internet

The scammers who contacted me when I sold my F350 bothered me. I don't get on the net much and don't know much about selling. In fact, when I sold my F350 I think I remember my bank told me I could set up a separate checking account for selling stuff. I will call them today. If I can do that then I will set up the Paypal. I thought I may contact a few local shops and see if they are interested. They could make some good money. I am just trying to recoup $600 from the DS, CA's and tail light. Thanks man.

I called my bank and they told me I can set up a second checking account for selling stuff. I will go down to my bank tomorrow assuming they are open and I am pretty sure they work on Good Friday and I will get the Paypal set up early next week and contact you if you are still interested.

I set up a separate checking account for the Paypal so all my other acconts with my bank are separate. I will sign up with Paypal either today or in the morning. I will let you know when it's ready.

I go to Paypal and try to log in with my email and it said I already had an account. I think that was when I sold the stock blower off my GT500. Completely forgot about it.

I couldn't find my password so I have to go thru their questions to be able to change my password.

I log on. I saw I had my old phone number so I was able to change it to my new phone.

Then I try to link the checking account I set up this morning and it said it could not verify it's me. Maybe since I applied for a new checking account this morning it hasn't had enough time to update. My bank also merged with another bank. My old bank name was on their list of banks. The new bank was not. Not sure if that is a problem.

I called Paypal and the automation asks me for a 6-digit code from the website? Have not a clue where I was supposed to do this.

I'll try one more time tomorrow to link my new checking account but after that I will not be able to sell here.
