It's not about having a certain car to be exempt in someone's book. It's not even about corvettes. It's about the fragile egos that ive seen so many corvette owners carry around with them throughout the years. It's comical, but also pathetic in its own way. I could have more respect for corvette owners, in general, if more knew how to take an L.
Mid 50's for clean, loaded, low mileage examples it looks like.
I remember back in like 2016 I was at a car show with a buddy and we were looking at a C6 ZR1 that was there, my buddy said he found one for $67k and wanted it. The dude with the Z jumped in and said "well if you found one for that, you'd better buy it immediately. These cars are going to rocket in value." He went on to talk about how he was going to buy more of them as investments, because they were definitely at the bottom.
You have to be on another level of insane to bet on Corvette depreciation, let alone appreciation.

In this vid though it looks like if the vette stayed in it he would have ran up an off ramp. He lets out and gets over before the lane ended.
Well that doesn't work if you are trying to downplay corvettes...
1. 2009 ZR1 sticker 120k with options. Inflation in 2020 = 144k. GT500 2020, 80k
2. ZR1 has factory no lift shit, extra cheat mode
3. ZR1 made of light weight material, including carbon fiber.
4. ZR1 has bigger CI engine. Man, so much cheating with GM!!!!
