I’m looking to purchase a QuickJack 7000EXT for my “13” Shelby and was wondering what you guys are using for the pinch welds? Thank you!

You are using the blocks that come in the package? Any pressure on the painted rockers? Thank you Sir

correct. I do not put them on the pinch welds because they touch my rockers. So I put them on the frame rails inside the pinch welds.

Do you have any photo’s? Thank you Sir

I do not. I have a video on my channel when I set them up, but I think at the time I was using the pinch welds. I stopped using them because I didn’t like how the blocks were compressing and slicing so I started using the rails

Im getting to set my GT500 up on the QJ. Ill take pics. I have bullseye stickers under the car where the blocks will go.

I use these jack pads. They have magnets that hold them into place on the pinch welds when ready to lift. I use a 2 post lift but would think they would work well on any type of lift.

I made jacking pads with hockey pucks and used them with my QJ when I need to lift the car.

Now that I don't have my Shelby anymore the pucks I made work great on the GF's Mazda CX-3.

Love your Corvette, I was looking at one a couple of months ago then all this virus hit and the market tanked

I’m thinking of one of these two jacking pads. Anyone using them? Thanks!

I think on my car the pinch weld opening is just over 2 inches.

Did the price of the Vette tank? That would be the time to get one if u are in the market.

I’m not sure on the price of the Corvette but I think it is a buyers market!
