Hell no. The fact that we know the outcome (death) only makes a decent argument to intervene.

I’m not risking years in jail by touching a police officer if I’m there in real time.
You’re expecting him to get off the guy at any second. You don’t know if he truly cannot breathe or if he’s lying. Intervene any later and he’d still be passed out because paramedics arrive no earlier.

Let’s say you went back in time and saved him. Now you’re in jail for years, with zero media attention or pardon support, because he lived.
Cop will say “I wasn’t going to kill him”
Suspect will say “Stupid ass, I wouldn’t have died”

Lol. Just wow.

Integrity means doing what is right when no one is looking or when you will get 0 accolades.

There arent many instances when you should do what that quote suggested, but a damn good argument can be made that this was one of them.

I found a live stream of someone reporting on all the live feeds, tweets, etc and the city is burning!

Seems they gutted that target, like everything. They've burnt/leveled an Autozone. Wendy's is on far and firefighters are not going to respond. A CVS is on fire or looted I heard. There's reports of massive looting in 'uptown" which has a Timberlands, Apple, H&M, etc. They mentioned a liquor store was looted. A pawn store owner shot/killed a looter.

While I agree emotionally, I doubt anyone at that scene who was legally carrying would’ve done what this guy is suggesting outside of maybe a family member. You’re most certainly locking to get a chest full of lead and if you don’t die, you’ll be drug through the mud in court and more than likely serving a long jail sentence. This raises questions about what we as citizens can do in situations like this though. What’s wrong is wrong.

And just like that any credibility the BLM movement had has been destroyed.

This makes me so sad. I lived a few blocks from the epicenter in the 90s when that was a REALLY shitty neighborhood. Ghetto birds every night, multiple crack houses on my block, I had to find a bed to crash on for a couple of weeks because an arsonist burnt down several houses on my block, saw a dude pistol whip his girlfriend in front of my house, a cop was straight up executed while on dinner break a couple of blocks from my place. It was bad.

Then it got better and Target moved in, there is a Y that was built across the street from the Autozone that you see. Yuppies started to move in and the neighborhood got a lot better. Well, not so much now and the suburbs just got a ****ton more attractive.

You would think if these guys get fired, the Mayor wants at least one of them brought up on charges the BLM 'upper management' would tell the rank and file to not loot and just protest [ loud and mad as you want]
oh wait.....
Well, at least the Media has something else to play with for a while

Yes, because the actions of a few should always get interpreted as the actions of an ENTIRE group of people...

Lets keep it fair and sensible.

I see this two ways:

1.) Blacks are up in arms over the death of a man that exemplified someone with power holding it over the head (or in this case, neck) of someone w/o power.
2.) Burning down or looting Autozone and Target represents what they were up in arms over: Someone with power holding it or using it over someone w/o any power and I say that because you know the store manage of either store isn't going to get physical defending merchandise. Honestly there is only one way to deal with such a mob.

Why aren't these people burning down and destroying city hall or the police stations? I think you know the reason(s) why. That b.s. about the "actions of a few" goes both ways.

This event doesn't give "protesters" the right to riot, loot and burn down businesses or anything else. They could be shot for all I care. They claim they want justice but don't give the system any time at all to play out. **** them.
This cop is going to be charged and convicted of murder without a doubt. Slam dunk case.
