I think it's a killer build, it's a great looking car and it probably runs hard.

In 2008 that was as good as you could get with Ford parts. It's interesting that it's engineered to be as safe as a modern car with crumple zones.

I like it. I would give decent money for the car but not where it will ultimately land.

look at that, it has an 03/04 motor

panoz used the terminator motors in their roadsters at the time so they probably had a healthy supply of them.

i dont like how the rear fenders are different than the fronts. make them the same, be it original or widened, but not different.

i dont think it will fetch $300k or even the reserve.

Yup, it's at $80K with 2 days to go. Cool restomod, but not worth what they're looking for.

Not sure if I buy into the crumple zone bit...

"Panoz reportedly used computer-assisted design and custom molds to develop a series of components including front and rear crumple zones and integrated side-impact protection."

That's a flag word when people have no actual proof.

$300k also seems pretty far fetched, as well.

"Mr. Dempsey is said to have spent approximately $300k on the vehicle in total"

There's those flag word things again....

At the height of his career Dempsey had 300k to piss away on car mods, he is a car guy.
I would have be worth 30 mil to piss away that much money on mods.
And it wouldn’t be on a 65 mustang.
