I hate to break it to you guys....

The 'pricing' you may find, may or may not be accurate. Ford has been launching several new applications for dealers to use. 40% of dealers have no idea how it works, 40% of dealers think they do but don't, and the other 20% kinda have it figured out.

I can all but guarantee that the Broncos will be selling for MSRP, or MSRP+ for a while.

I've had 9 calls from people pissed off they couldnt reserve the First Edition 4 door.

They were telling me they would pay $85k for them.

That $1000 off invoice is sounding better then.

$85,000 is crazy!

Nick have you had anyone reserve one and list your dealership?

I texted Aaron and told him to go through you. If he does we will come out when he comes up to get it.

I didn't reserve a first edition. But the dealer said they'd honor any reservation at $1000 under invoice. It would be the customers reservation that determines the trim is assume?

So couldn't they switch to any dealership that would not mark it up to $85,000 in theory?

OP if you can secure that deal you could probably make a nice profit by flipping it. People pay over list for desirable things just to be the first one to have it. I remember the VW New Beetle selling for $2-3k over list and our dealer having waiting list for them. Same with the Audi TT and the first 2000 S-class's which were sold for $50k over msrp. Everybody wanted to be the 1st one to pull up to the synagogue in the new Mercedes. Not me though I'd never pay over list for anything, but I'm cheap so.

would it be safe to assume since this is a more mass produced line vs say a GT500 the adm would settle down likely after the first year of hype.

We've had just under two dozen so far.

No. Once the reservation is set with a dealer, and it gets close to scheduling, it's that dealer's allocation and the customer with the reservation gets first shot at it.

Hypothetically yes, but the Bronco has a MUCH LARGER target audience than any GT500 ever has. It wouldn't surprise me in the least if they receive 80k reservations in the next 60 days and the entire first model year is sold before it even arrives.

I can appreciate someones desire to want to be first/have the new hotness, but I like the idea of letting other people own an unproven model first. They get to deal with the bugs and kinks and extra cost.

I'll just wait for year 2/lot models to hit and I'll buy one of those. lol
