Yeah, I'm getting really bored with long narratives, as well. I find myself either skipping a lot of these videos, or fast forwarding to the smaller actual racing segments. o_O Everybody wants to be a YT Influencer. As Joe Friday would say, "just the facts, mam, just the facts".

I think the issue at hand is everyone is trying to get YouTube rich. In order to generate revenue, not only do you have to get the clicks, but you also have to have certain lengths to drive ads.

You have to get A LOT of views to even make it worthwhile and I think many fall off quickly, realizing it's not worth the time. But, there's another "waiting in line" to try their turn. Vicious cycle.

I keep hearing that...not sure how youtube expects to stay relevant when you have 20 minute videos that could literally be less than a minute long. I know it's all about AD revenue but when people get tired of that OR another Youtube site pops up, it will be too late in the game to fix anything. I would prefer to have great content and pay a small fee to youtube every month, than have a bunch of guys in tank tops and sunglasses acting like models...and then making a car video.

Unless is a real channel like "Roadkill" or something that has professional hosts and actually 30 minutes of content GTFO with your long ass videos.
