Haha... That car looked great.

What’s the new project gonna be?

Not sure how soon yet, but I want to go 997 Carrera S next. I'll still be around this forum, been apart of this place for way too long to drop it completely.

I saw this post and got excited hoping the car was back for sale THANKS . Such an awesome example of a modded terminator.

Holy crap, Mike, I don't know how I missed this thread. Wow! A legend moves on to another owner. I hope he's enjoying it. He got one hell of a Cobra. Doesn't get any better than that one!

Anyone know where this car went? Or who the current owner is?

I haven’t seen it come up on any sites. I wonder how they keep moving it? Any idea on current owner? And I wonder if the condition is still similar?

It was never posted for sale. It went from the guy I sold it to in IL, to another guy local to him (who was originally going to buy it from me in the first place), then he sold it to another guy who reached out to me asking to be put in contact with the current owner. I'm assuming it went for more than what I sold it for at this point.

Only things changed that I know of was the wheels were powdercoated a very similar color and the radiator cover was changed to one of those big text terminator ones.

Hello @mooch29. It's great you sold that car, and what a great car it is, but if I were you I would let it go. I know it's cool to keep up with it and see who it was sold to and see where it is now.

However, I did this when I sold my 89GT. I put blood sweat and tears into that car. I traded it for my 03 Roush (have long since regretted that move). I went looking for it and found it was sent to auction and the guy who bought it was a younger dude who changed a lot of engine pieces and then sold it to a mom and pop dealership. The dealership sold it to a middle aged couple. I contacted the dealership and asked them to give my contact info to the new owners. The guy actually reached out to me a couple months later and said he would sell it back to me. I had some other responsibilities going on and asked him if he could wait 6 months and then I would buy it back. He agreed.

Well, when the time came I tried contacting him and no response. I googled the VIN and found the car in one of those part out lots. The guy ended up wrecking the car (looked like it got T boned). Talk about a gut punch. Oh well, I sold the car so live with the results.

Anyway, I mention this because your car was very well maintained by you and some people do not carry the same type of love and passion as you do. You may see the car deteriorate or worse get destroyed. It's not fun to watch my friend.

Just letting you know my experience brother.

Definitely let it go, I don't really miss the car at all (I just miss "having" a car), I just so happened to have these people come to me asking for help haha. Sounds like it ended up in great hands though.

Proud new owner of this fantastic vehicle. Mooch is correct, a few items were changed/removed prior to me taking ownership. So far I haven't done anything to the vehicle but title it, wash it and enjoy it. Just a few quick pics here to represent that she is still being taking care of very well.

Congrats sammad! You ended up with a great example of a Terminator. I've always liked the color combinations on that car. Glad it went to a good home and someone who appreciates what they have. Enjoy it!!!

Thanks very much Michael! I sure will. Did you think a year after selling you'd still be talking about this car? :)

Beautiful looking car!
Thank you, very much appreciated.

What was it changed/removed if you dont mind me asking.
In addition to Mooch mentioning that the wheels were powdercoated, rad cover changed the sail panels are now back to stock ( I am again looking for the Saleen panels) roof film was removed, most likely that will be put back at some point and a new head unit installed. A couple other small items.
