My wife just bought one as well. I've heard these things pick up crazy hp with a tune. But I want to keep the warranty.

These things shit and get with just a tune that I would find your tuner of choice and tune for the highest octane you have available. Palm Beach Dyno, ZFG Racing, Livernois, 5 Star, etc are a couple that you can go with. I don't know for sure if Matt from GearHead or Brad from AJPTurbo tune these, but they are worth reaching out to because they are awesome on the SHO platform.

Send me a message. We have a shop ST here and have done quite a bit to it already. Few more things in the works as well.

Do tunes actually delete warranties?
(Newest laws/tech, etc)
Doesn't delete warranties. But if something fails related to the tune you are shit out of luck. Its somewhat of a gamble. Typically the big name tuning companies tend to be the safer side of tuning.

Yep, they definitely lean towards the safer tune, for obvious reasons. My only real concern would be if a tuned vehicle is raced often. That would increase the odds of something going wrong that could be blamed on the tune. But generally, you should be fine. Companies like Livernois thoroughly test their tunes to ensure that the modified settings (like transmission settings) are safe. I often wonder what the percentage of performance vehicles here on SVTP are riding a custom tune.
