Ordered some suspension parts form a shop in Texas, shipped in 2 boxes. First box was returned to the shop with UPS stating it was "missing a commercial invoice" needed for export (which was on the outside of the box where it was suppose to be). The shop emails me and said the parts were all beat up and had to be re-powder coated. Same story with the second box but it disappeared from tracking in Louisville, Ky. Now 6 weeks later, it shows up on my doorstep, all beat up....lol! The tracking# was different than the one the shop gave me so I punched it in to UPS an this is what I found:

So it made 2 loops around the mid-west, then went to Winnipeg and sat in a warehouse, being scanned every single day for a month...lol! I checked the shipping label and everything is in order so I'm not sure what happened. The icing on the cake is the final delivery where it says "attempted delivery" when it was actually delivered. Also, the delivery town listed is 35 miles away from where I actually live.

Shipping and LTL is beyond stressed with Covid.

Without getting into details, hub cities and shipping routes are planned around economic marketplaces and that's all in complete disarray. It's throwing the entire manufacturing industry into a tailspin.

Yeah I'm not upset at all. I'm no where near the suspension stage yet on my F150 build and the shop was great and reshipped the entire order.

I'm really noticing a slow down with Amazon Canada. Everything used to ship out same or next day and now it's taking 3 or 4 days to ship. I see the couriers around town and they literally run from truck to house they're so busy!

Haha. A few years ago my dad was freaking out. A piece of main distribution switch gear was missing from a job site, the MDP was about 8’ tall by 4’ wide and 3’ deep. No exactly small. Went back and forth for weeks and the shipper was adamant it was delivered but no record of a signature. Come spring time after the thaw we found it. It was in a snowbank. 5 months of being buried in snow.

Wow, that is beyond horrible. I've had the occasional UPS snafu delivery, but that makes mine pale in comparison. Sat is one spot and got scanned every day for a month. Wow!
