What did you do for your Terminator today?

I just received my set of these in the mail on Sunday. They are nice wheels , and pretty lightweight.

Any spacers or anything? Can you get a pic that shows how far they sit in/out of the wheel well?

They are extremely lightweight compared to my forgestar that were on the car.
I put on a 3mm spacer since supposedly it needs it for the rear to use the center caps but I could’ve ran without it but it was already in so I didn’t want to put in the work to remove it lol. But front sits inside slights.

Thanks for the insight. That's the first I've heard about any spacers. Those look like they fit damn near perfect. These are a lighter than the TF wheels they are replacing.

Started her up for the first time since October and let her warm up to temp. Took off my TF wheels and put stockers on her for winter. Put the car on the wheel blocks I made so I can pull the magnum to fix the leaking shifter.

The rubber boot under the shift bezel was full of fluid. Nevermind all the fluid on the under side of the car. Over 3k for a transmission with less than 2500 miles on it now shouldn't be leaking everywhere. Very disappointed in Tremec. It's a known issue they tear the underside boot during assembly but still ship them out this way.

You don’t need to pull the trans to do it.

Just did it on mine.

Unhook the collector after the X or H.

Pull trans cross member.

Should be fine. Front bolts are a little tough to get to but doable

I thought about trying this. I want to make sure I get a good rtv seal around the base of the shifter, not sure how easy that will be under the car. I'll give it a shot.

It’s easy man. Just put a small bead of ultra black spread thin on the trans and the shifter.

Kindof have to put it on your finger and apply to the trans but it’ll be fine.
Same deal when we R & R the trans.

Not yet. Been searching for the AP part number I found online for the underside seal, but no luck. Going to have to call them and order one. Going to order a new top dust boot too.

Once the trans is lowered a bit you everything from the top.

Started tearing down today to do cams. Custom spec from Todd along with some other "while I'm there" upgrades. Alot of work but should be worth it

I've seen the tensioner support plate from Metco, but didn't seem to see anybody install that here that I can remember. Is this really an issue? Mods, if wrong forum I'll take the gentle guidance.

It’s a nice piece.

That being said, I’m running a 2.9 RR upper on my 2.9 Whipple @20psi.

Zero slip. Not a super tight belt. Factory tensioner than I replaced to old age like 5yrs ago.

Spent about a week installing long tubes and cleaning up other broken or dirty bits along the way.. Headers are on, but what is this? my oil cooler has been shitting oil everywhere so now I'm over here ordering o-rings to rebuild it.
Things nobody mentions when installing BBKlong tubes: driver's side header has 2 bolts that come with the kit that are impossible to place, and should just use stock studs instead...But wait? there's more.. the studs are too long and will hit the pipes before you can tighten them down so be sure to file the stud down 1/4 inch lol.
Btw my car has stock cams. it's in the learning phase with open long tubes and I was rewarded with these sweet sweet sounds.

I miss how damn good my car sounded when it was blower only with longtubes.

I do not miss how much a pain in the ass it was putting the motor in with longtubes and a stock K member.

What was the factory stat temp in our cars? I can’t recall what came out.

my car never really ran warm and I typically drive in sun 70* temps.

I had to have my radiator resealed and flushed so I threw a JR goffin 170 in there

well now I can barely cross 190 after multiple 20 psi blasts back to back through 2nd and 3rd

182 in stop and go and 176 cruising on the freeway.

I think a 180 is in order. Just can’t recall if I had a 192? Or what it was I took out.
