That was great! We've got this big raccoon that is living under my neighbor's front porch. Just about every night he woddles through my front garden, eventually with his girl and their new babies. I HATE raccoons! They're nasty. Last year the coyotes nailed two of the baby raccoons. We found their bones and fur weeks later.

Awesome. I would rather encounter a yote than a raccoon.

I thought the same but the Raccoon was in the garbage can eating. It was hungry. Raccoons often eat during the day time but he was very aggressive and that is a sign of being rabid but they are very defensive as well so tough to say.

Rabid animals are usually confused and disoriented, difficulty walking and ill in appearance with foaming of the mouth sometimes. I really didnt see any of that with this animal but who knows maybe it was just setting in. Usually a rabid animal will die within 7 days of becoming rabid.

Either way, he was not a happy camper that his morning meal was disturbed lol.

Might be Rabid.

I think the extra whack from the broom set him off.

He was retreating when the lunch disrupter took an unprovoked whack at him.

Raccoon gave him a taste.

LOL! I didn't know that you YOU, Brett. Thought it was a video you found. Man, you're pretty brave/bold to poke at the trash bin while he was in there. They're mean buggers. You're lucky you weren't bitten.
