Uploading pictures to this site shouldnt be this difficult

Trying to figure this out lol

I've found if you upload from a computer it's a lot easier. I've never had luck with this site on my phone. I can't even see pictures on this site when using the app on my phone.

I always wonder why when people go through this much effort to do a build with a full repaint, why not pull the glass and doors and paint the shell in one go. I’m in collision repair so tape lines drive me up a wall.

that aside, looks like it’s a nice build

While i was putting paint/assembly on hold for a breif while.....i wanted this thing to go back together as good as brand new. Old nasty bolts werent going to cut it, sure you can buy generic new bolts that dont look OEM and rust after a short while. So i took a different approach

I decided to teach myself how to strip and re-coat all of the car's engine/suspension fastners..... this was a very long process, doing 1-2 bolts at a time.

My process was zinc plating, with a dochromate conversion for longivity

Glad you got the picture thing figured out. Please don't stop posting. I have been on the fence about buying a Cobra R for a while. But I know I wouldn't track it. I keep an eye out for a "donor" GT to turn into a Cobra R clone. I thought about taking the easy route though of dropping in a Coyote. Your attention to little things like the bolts is amazing. Keep it up. This is a awesome thread!
