What would you value this GT500?

It goes without saying, it will always be high when a dealer has it. For a dealer, I don't think they're out of their mind, I've seen worse.

You'll get varying opinions here, and the market has fluctuated about 5-7k on 10-14 GT500 cars the last year. If was in the market again, most I'd personally give would be $33k. It's a nicely optioned 1 owner car, no arguing that. I just know what cars were selling for last year this time and what I paid for my 11', so I couldn't swallow a $38k price tag. I see plenty of 11/12 cars with similar miles and options for less, lot of improvements made to the car, though they look the same.

That said, neogtiate, if you finance through them, I'm sure they'll come down. A realistic offer IMO would be $35k.

They offered 23k on my 2007 trade in. I feel it's a high trade offer in due their asking price being high. My 2007 GT500 has 40k miles, I'm second owner, and have the mods listed below. They said for 23k it have to be mint, which my car is close with a couple of blemishes, one on driver seat and one on passenger seat. Another thing is I wanted to pay cash with trade in. Maybe I'm better off taking a loan from them and paying it off right away. I just love this color. I live on long Island and there are NO Shelbys between 2010-2012 (my price range) for sale.

What improvements do the 11 and 12's have over the 10's?

That's not an insane price IMO from a dealer, but. If you haven't yet, I'd do some research on the '10 model as compared to '11 & up models. The '10 was kind of a bastard child of the '07 - '14 models.

Can you post a pic of your 2007 GT-500? Looking over your mods, I'm trying to visualize what the car looks like. ;)

No interest in a '13-'14?

I’m more hesitant on 2010s for several reasons, and recommend the ‘11-14 cars, mainly for tuning with the computer and twin wide band O2s.

That said, it’s spring and a rare color, so you’re probably right with the trade.

Does the Grabber Blue car have mods?
Do you want to try and swap the 2007 mods to the 2010 if you could?

Good luck.

At the end of the day, it's what you can live with and getting what you want. That's a little different for everyone in this hobby.

Here are the pics of my car. The 13-14 are just out of my price range honestly. I wish I could afford one. My max budget is 40k depending on the trade in I get, assuming I can't sell private party.

I really want grabber blue. I'd prefer it with the SVTPP package but that'll be out of my price range. I told the dealer I'd like to swap my rims with the rims their Shelby have. See if they bite

SVTPP wasn't availbe until 2011' anyway. Beat'em up as much as you can, it's a cool car. Might be paying a bit of a premium, but like the kids say nowadays, YOLO!

That's a nice car but it does seem a little high. I paid 29k last year for my Kona Blue 2010 with 36k on the clock from a dealer. Don't be afraid of the 2010's. I've had zero issues with mine. I added a Zeitronix wideband kit and Lund had no problems tuning it. I just received my 2.8LC Kenne Bell kit today that I'll be installing soon.
With that said, I browse the web looking at GT500 prices quite often. I've seen 11-12 GT500's with similar miles for around the same price as that 2010 you're looking at. You may have to travel a little but it would be worth it. To me, a 2010 should be priced lower than a similar mileage 11/12.

I bought a 2010 two years ago (Kona Blue) with most options for that year (Nav, HID lights etc) and the 500 Shaker - not the 1000 with the big trunk box out of state in OHIO....I live in NY

I think I paid $35K and it had 15 or 16K on it. I only talked them down a thousand or two and told them that was it. I really wanted this car too and looked at a lot of them. Price was a little high but it was really nice and only one small little ding that most could not see.

At closing they tried to tack on their usual fees...I balked and said my price included ALL...I got up to leave and they knew I lived in NY...they dropped the additional crap.

I paid cash....if you try to finance watch out....even if you pay it off immediately there are hidden charges on most finance programs ...Like $500 - $2000K so be careful with that...I know a few people that tried that and got burned by it.

I have 44K on it now...modded it some ..new blower etc..... having air-fuel monitor was the only thing that I wished it had...I added it.

I like those 2010 stock rims...and they are not cheap...make sure you really want to swap your old ones. The stock 2010 rides really nice so be careful with suspension mods if you want to daily drive it.

The 2010 is a weird year....has some early year parts and later year parts...not a big issue but you must be careful when ordering parts for it.

I'm not up on the 2011s but this looks nice.....low miles, HID, no Nav, PP ?? It said 19 inch rims...PP came with 20 inch rims. (verify that with them). It has a JLT CAI on it so see if the car comes with a tuner since the previous owner was supposed to get the PCM retuned. I have 2011 mufflers and they used a single straight out pipe so I don't think the exhaust mufflers are factory. I think he'll drop the price too.
