They are moving in exactly the opposite direction. It turns out BTC is a risk asset after all. It is a non financial risk asset but a risk asset nonetheless.

here is my opinion. would I go all in on crypto? no way in hell. It is WAY to volatile and way too many unknowns. HOWEVER. Bitcoin is basically 50% off right now. If you can afford a few grand right now, or a small amount of your retirement, now is GREAT time to buy. In my eyes, the American dollar is a failed cause a depreciation. Personally, I will be saving an emergency fund of cash. The rest will be ALL stocks, crypto, real estate, gold, and silver. I fear that a second round of COVID will cause another panic and sell off in the market. This is going to be another great buying opportunity for all of us.

I've been rolling my position but wouldn't go HARD until I see 70k .

I would rather go all in at 70k with momentum money and the FOMO.
Otherwise I've watched this languish and be dead chop for years on end, over and over.

GLTA tho!!!

By rolling, you mean you still have those 5 you purchased? No need to answer if too personal.

So here is where im confused with your stance. In 1 thread you are in full panic mode and sell everything you own.

In this other thread you are hold on to all the crypto you have.

It makes you look very wishy-washy.

Everyone that financially can afford it should have 18 months of income in US cash.

Yeah the contracts are monthlies, I first rolled up to June, but instead of rolling into July's, I went all the way to september.

Just to cut down on the rollover fees

Lmfao wtf

how many people do you think literally can do that?

dude at 60k a year income that would be almost 100 grand … what kind of person that makes 60k a year can just “ have 100 grand “

the kind of people that just have 6 figures in cash laying around is a very very very very small amount of people.

in that thread I was referring to secondary items such as cars or homes. I wasn't talking about investments. I still think a substantial crash is coming with homes and the stock market.

Nation states will never allow crypto to supplant existing fiat, they literally can't afford to let that happen. So when the nation states have their own crypto tied to fiat, there is literally no reason as a buyer or seller, to use anything else. You would be nuts to accept the risk of using anything else for currency transactions.

There are other uses for crypto, but at the rate of crypto's are being created, they will never be viewed as an appreciating asset, they will be viewed as a depreciating asset like software.
