Yes the Tesla Plaid weighs about 4800 lbs. Amazingly they reduced it by almost 200 lbs compared to the Tesla S.

Dang! That is one really awesome looking EV. SO much nicer than the Tesla Plaid. The interior makes the Tesla look absolutely stale. That's the way to do it.

Looked at the Plaid but its just too dam ugly! This is a BJ on wheels tho. The LED lights front and rear are absolutely wicked!

The range on this thing absolutely sucks! U get like 200 miles. Thats pathetic! Total FAIL!

Where are you seeing that range of 200 miles? There is zero range info on the Audi RS eTron GT website. If it IS only 200 miles, I wonder what percentage of "WOT" driving that includes.

i assume the 200 range is because they used the same approach that the Porsche Taycan did. It has the same range. I recall they took a different approach that allows them to recharge much faster. i can’t remember the specifics.

I would not say it is ugly. Looks decent from the rear with the wide stance. The front needs a little work. I did an image search and it is hard to find quality photos of the Plaid that don't have advertisements watermarked on them. I guess we'll have to wait until people start doing photoshoots of their Plaids.

Could very well be. It is, at that performance level, a limited distance runner. I’m waiting for super high performance EVs to eventually introduce extended ranges in the 400-500 mile range as battery technology evolves.

Check out this review of the Plaid. There's nice interior and exterior panning shots. I must say the car looks pretty nice IMO! But I do think the Audi e-tron looks better. Performance wise no contest. Plaid all the way!
