I recently purchased a 2003 Stage 2 Roush Mustang. Unfortunately, it does not have the correct Roush rims and those rims seem to be long gone. The car has had a few owners so, hard telling when they were removed. I was hoping to find a set of 99-04 18x9 Roush rims in good shape. Mine are supposed to be the argent rims, but argent or chrome would be fine. Ideally I would like to have a set of the Roush staggered rims.

Also, I have seen several pics of New Edge mustangs with the 2005+ style Roush rims on them. I believe those were 18x10 on all 4 wheels. Will a 10" width rim work on the front of my car w/out rubbing on sharp turns or other issues?

I know these are getting harder to find, but I'm sure there are some out there. I have found a couple sets on FB but either people don't want to ship or the rims have had curb rash.

I appreciate any input. Pic below is for reference only.. :)

Good luck with your search!

I'm subscribing to this thread to learn about the fitment of the newer Roush wheels. My husband has a 2001 Roush Stage 3 that came with the small 17" Roush wheels only and we would love to change to some 18" in the future.

My 03 Roush currently has FR500 style rims. 18x9 (275/35 r18) in front and 18x10 (285/35 r18) on rear. On a really sharp turn (steering wheel at max turn), i get a very small rub against the suspension in front but since you rarely turn that sharp it's really a non-issue. The tire/rim size looks right and sits nicely.

To my knowledge Roush doesn’t do staggered wheels. They would have to be widen for that. Also for the record the standard 3V Roush wheels were factory on the 04 440A models, design wise at least. They might be 18x9 on the 440A. I know Stage 3 motor sports has a lot of 2V Roush parts; they might have some wheels.

I have always liked the Roush argent wheels. They came on my 03 380R. They were 18x9 all the way around.

I ended up buying another set from someone off the old FNSweet Roush site for my 03 Cobra. The argent set I purchased came with 2 18x9 for the front and 2 18x10 for the rear.

Good luck on your search. Wish I could provide more assistance, but I'm not sure how easy it will be to find these wheels.

I'm having the same issue with my 65. I bought some Boyd Coddington wheels years ago and the backspacing for the front wheels is not right for my current set up. Not sure if I will be able to find the same wheel with the proper backspacing.

My 380R as I purchased it and as it sits now.

This was before I had my 03 Cobra painted/lowered. Really like the look of the Roush wheels on my car.

Beautiful cars.. I was originally looking for a Cobra Convertible. My car only has 29k original miles which is one reason I purchased the car. Someone made the scoop functional on my car. Whomever did the work did an incredible job. They drilled out all of the honeycomb spots in the hood scoop plastic and did a good job, almost looks like it would have been that way until you look very closely. They cut an opening into the hood under the scoop. The edges of the the opening are rolled and looks professionally done. I assume it's not an aftermarket hood since it looks like a stock hood otherwise. I have done a few things to make it nicer. Some non-stock items were on it which have been removed... except for the ProCharger... lol While I do like the FR500 rims on it, I would definitely prefer the Roush rims.

None of the production models came with the 18x10 in the rears, did they? Everything I’ve seen suggests they were all squared stances with 18x9.

Those wheels are RR03 from Roush; not the same design but would still look good on the car if they fit. I’m not sure for certain as they were specifically designed for the S197 with Roush’s big brake kit.
I’m actually getting those wheels on my blue one soon, as the red one is getting the RR03’s that are currently on the blue one.

I'm not sure if the 2004 models had them or if they were an option you had to buy through the Roush parts department.

I know all the 2003 models I seen had 18x9 all around like my 380R.

I believe I found a good set of Argent Roush Rims. When I asked what they were off of, he said he thought it was from a '99 model year car. These look just like the rims on your two cars and are appear correct for New Edge Roush mustangs. They are 18x9 rims and what I believe is the offset is +28 (not sure what that means). Here are some pics of the rims.

I have a set of PRISTINE CHROME ROUSH wheels for the SN197 with tires that are less than a 1,000 miles. If anyone is interested PM me. They are 18 X 10 I can send pics .I bought them for my 96 Mystic and took them to my buddies shop to have them put on. He pointed to the corner and said he wished I asked first. Brand new set of Saleens 18 X 10.5 and 18 X 9 that a guy ordered and never picked up! All four with Nittos on the car OTD for $2,000 with a oil change and rear brakes! So now I have a extra set of wheels. Let me know! I do now you have to use spacers and adjust the camber to make the 10' fit on t he fronts ( at least that's what I read)

From what I remember S197 rear wheels are a much different offset from the SN95. They need a big spacer to even look somewhat normal.
