I bet you Austin does.... some of the major cities are exhibiting side effects from liberal policies.
Austin is a liberal cesspool. Over the top liberal city council and mayor have ruined any chance of this city being a good place to live again.

Thankfully, our State Government cares about protecting Texas and does what they need to.

While I work in Austin, I am proud to say I live way, way outside of this dump, and don't pay any taxes into this crappy city.

I was literally thinking an hour ago about going back to Redondo Beach/Long Beach for a week to see my cousin. We used to go there every couple of years, but when things starting speed to the Left we stopped going. As much as I miss "old" Southern California, it's just changed too much. I'm sure we'd be really more disappointed than I think we'd be. Sad, because there was a time back in the late '60s when I really wanted to settle in the Long Beach area after finishing my 4 year Navy enlistment.

I've needed to make a trip to CA for the last two years, but keep putting it off for obvious reasons.

I'm surprised they don't have a "service fee" for anyone who works inside the city limits. I know of one town in WV that does that and it is set a $5/week for anyone who is employed in the city.

An armed society is a polite society.
Every State that has instituted Constitutional Carry has seen a decrease in crime.
Funny how that works.
LA wants more crime. They want more chaos. This is just one more manifestation of that policy.

At some point you have to assume that a party that insists in continuing the pursuit of policies that are known to fail must intend the logical consequences that flow from said policies.

I mean it's dumb to say as a public policy. But, that was how I was brought up. Money and things are replaceable. I dont usually carry more than $200 cash and I'll cancel all the cards before you hit the store. Not getting killed over it.
While I mostly agree with you, this is specifically discussing follow home robberies. They are tailing people to their homes and robbing them at their doorstep. Now these criminals are at or inside your home, threatening your family and putting them at danger too.

Again, stuff is replaceable, I agree with you. But, where does it stop? What's the line? Give an inch, take a mile.

Is that imposed by the city itself?

That's very interesting. As a State employee, I think we'd be exempt, but I could definitely see Austin invoking something similar.

Its LA PD what do you expect. They are criminals themselves. Smart play if you ask me. Less resistance makes it much easier for them to commit crimes.

100%

I lived in Kali for 33 years, finally ****ing got out.
Kali kept getting worse, year after year, and only from government corruption and coastal cities voting like RETARDS.
more taxation, more illegals, more GUN CONTROL, more idiotic laws.
the sad part is, LA and SFO control the ENTIRE state. Central state is VERY republican. But it doesn't matter, because of the LA and SFO population.
They tried to "recall" the governor, and course that entire thing was bullshit, they were never going to recall Newsome. That mother ****er is going to run for Pres soon.
California is basically unlivable now, thanks to the retards. You can't even buy a ****ing house unless you have $800,000. While you live in your million dollar home, the bums across the street shoot up heroin. What a paradise.

Hey, at least we're extra extra safe with mask mandates and 76% vaccinated. You'd love it here.. surprised youre not back already.

Freedoms? Corruption? Taxation? Gun control??

PSHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! We're vaccinated BROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

Quit your bitching.

Austin definitely does...I have been up there twice this year for NASCAR and Moto GP. The homeless problem is huge there. The crime rates of soared thru the roof there. I believe Austin's violent crime rates have exceeded those of San Antonio, Houston and Dallas... APD has been defunded, budget cut by 1/3rd... The morale and manpower are at all time lows. ****ing disgusting what liberals are doing to our cities across the nation.

We still have more murders overall, but don't think our rate has grown like Austins... Murders used to be fairly uncommon in Austin, that certainly has changed over the years.
There is legit nothing I like about going to Austin. Driving up on I-35 sucks and then there is Austin itself...even though the food in Austin is better than SA, **** that place.

Yet you are 100% for vaccine mandates …

Weird how you are all about government control in one way but not another
