Is it just my area or are there a ton of Terminators on the Market?

It’s crazy indeed man. I’ve seen so many for sale, wild how many cars you see for sale when a few bucks can be made. I know at least for me this was my dream car growing up, it would take a lot to get it from me. I had tossed around the idea of selling my 03 OW coupe. Ironically enough @phils04gt was one of the many who had planned to purchase the car. I wasn’t asking a crazy amount, I was asking $35k for 19k miles. Cars clean inside, and out. I only wanted what it would take to get me a Sonic Blue I found near me. I was told by a few members here to sell it for $45k (asking not what it would sell for of course). However I didn’t want to make a product off members here, I’d rather the car be purchased and enjoyed versus making money. Extra money never hurt anyone, I’m just not that kinda guy. Only thing I’ve ever asked of anyone who entertained me was I’d like a chance to purchase the car back if they ever felt they couldn’t have it anymore. I even had a member here coming to purchase mine, I was holding the car for him because of a loan issue. There was a 03 OW with more mods for a little cheaper than I was asking. I told him I’d jump on that one instead of mine if he ever intended to mod my car. He’d save a bit of money. We became friends during our transaction and we will be going for a cobra cruise soon. That’s what these cars are to me at least. Making friends, and enjoying the cars we envied for a while.

Nice man!

I ended up paying 23 for a DSG Vert with 69k miles mid last year.

That being said I have no idea how to gauge my purchase this year.
Mainly if I got a good deal or purchased too soon when there was no selection.

It's the right environment to sell these cars. You might be able to double your purchase price in a sale now if you bought a few years ago. It's one of the reasons why I went with an 01 for my project car. The terminators It's the right environment to sell these cars. The terminators were more than I wanted to pay, plus I didn't want to mess with a Terminator due to the growing cillectabioity. At this point I don’t think I’d want one for 50k. There are a lot of other auto options or things I could do with that money
Same. I've wanted a 93 cobra for along time, but I don't want to spend 50k+ when I can get a lot more car. So we ended up with the 19 GT350.

I paid a lot for our 93 reef blue hatch which is stock except for a catback exhaust. It's definitely nostalgic, but really just a turd with rattle's lol. I paid enough that it would take the right buyer to break even. Probably won't get driven a lot.

Don’t get me wrong, I’ve had that battle all the time with my brother. Before the market went crazy of course he purchased a 2016 C7 Z51 3LT corvette. It’s got suede on the pillars, steering wheel, napa leather. Car has 26k miles, he bought it for $42k? He says all the time it doesn’t make sense to buy an 03/04 cobra right now. They’re not worth it when you think of the cars in their price range. He’s a corvette guy, so that’s what he enjoys. We’ve always clashed hah. However I can agree with you bdubb’s. I want a mint, lower mileage Sonic Blue. However the “low” mileage ones are high 40’s, and the higher mile ones are high 30’s. I get asked frequently, for what I bought my Shelby for, would I buy a cobra? The answer is no. I love my cobras. They’re great, and mostly nostalgic for me. When it comes to comfort and power, sorry but many things in their price range don’t come close. Hell even a 2012 Cts V is like 550hp, heated, and cooled seats, and comes in a sedan for $35k or so? Tough times for sure. I love me a GT350. Nothing sounds like those Flatplanes. That’s why I love my R1. Motors sound amazing up high.

I've recently been having the itch to sell. My car has been down since last September (waiting on cams) and I just don't have the desire to get out in the garage and work on it.

I know I could make a bunch of money on it, and I've thought about getting into a c7z or GT350, but in the end I know I'd always end up wanting another SB coupe. So, I'm torn. I wish I had more garage space so I could just have both.

I think the asking prices on these cars are inflated unless it’s a sub 10k mile all stock clean car.

I'll tell you, if you haven't driven a 350 you definitely should. I can't say much about the Corvette. It really depends on what you want.

Ideally, more space is always a plus. Then you could keep both. For awhile I rented a storage unit. Was kinda a pain at times, but worth it.

It is every enthusiast car though. Even cars people use to hate like 996 911s are way up. I got mine for 18k with only 50k miles on it. Won't ever see a deal like that in my life again. Pretty much any lower mileage enthusiast car is through the roof.

I understand what you’re saying. If you do wanna sell that puppy. You know who to go to first! :) also a C7Z is a blast to drive. My buddy’s got one, I drive it all the time, raced it down the track too. You’ll enjoy it, manual or even automatic.

Found 2 new sonic blues posted. So I’ve come to the conclusion since my OW has similar miles, and less were made in OW coupes than SB. I’m gonna post mine for $55k too. Completely being sarcastic now. Prices are insane on these.
16k miles $49,999
12k miles $55k.

Yup for a little more money you can buy a lot more car. That's where I was at.

I understand what the 03-04 cobra represents. My car has 32k miles and have an agreed value set at 45k.

Considering I just got a hellcat delivered with 15k miles for $61,400. Seems wild too me that a 03 cobra is $6k less?.. guess I’m glad I’ve got 2 of those too haha.
