Excellent movie. No political side messages, no wokeness at all. They nailed it. The short video Tom Cruise does before the movie sets the tone.

If Iron Eagle - Firefox - Behind Enemy Lines made a love baby, it would be Top Gun Maverick. Do yourself a favor and see it in an RPX theater for the amazing sound.

Excellent tribute and homage to Val Kilmer as a person and to his character Ice-Man

Incredible aerial filming.

They went a bit far with trying to make Maverick look like a trouble maker all his life. We get it, he breaks rules.

Bob was my favorite character.

Loved they included the F14 Tomcat

Wondering why they chose the F18 as the aircraft to run this mission. Seems an A10 or even F117A would be better suited or just a good ol fashioned bunker buster strike. We have missiles capable of doing the mission goal. It made for a good movie though.

I would love to see a prequal to this set in Vietnam era called Top Gun - Viper. Which would be Viper and Mavericks father. Bad ass movie with the F4.

Is it better than the 1st? I didn't think so. But it is fantastic and plan to see it again.

The issue I have with many sequels is the length of time between pictures. Thirty some odd years passed since the original and I would have been more receptive if another film came a few years after rather than decades.

Cruise didnt want overuse of green screens, so a lot of the actors had to go through months of training so they couldn handle the moves in the jets.

I havent seen the first.......need to watch the 1st then watch this one

All the good scenes were in the trailer and the story/mission was nothing short of retarded...

Also loved the sharp banking at Mach 10 @ like 30k feet....

I can beat that. I've never seen Star Wars. None of them. :)

holy shit thought my wife not seeing any LOTR was top, you take the cake

to be fair, lots of folks will say the original 3 are the only real 'star wars' - but I've seen a few of them, liked them all.

Never was a huge Tom Cruise fan, except for Last Samurai, I've got his character tattooed on my forearm lolol
