Finally installed my buddies replacement K today. Only real thing I could see was the rear mounting tabs were extended about a half inch. The exhaust manifold is no longer touching the mount, but we threw new mounts in while we were there. The passenger mount wasn't bad, but the driver mount was done. So I can't really say which one fixed the contact issue. It did seem to go in with less of a fight. However there still isn't any room to adjust it. All the bolts were maxed in the slots. Hopefully it's straight for when he gets his alignment.

The fact that you said there isn't enough adjustment to square the K member tells me BMR hasn't fully fixed this part. That's a damn shame.

Any updates on the fitment issues? I'm interested in replacing my UPR tubular with their Premium KM743 and A-arms with spring perches.

Reviving a dead thread to see if BMR ever fixed these K-Members or if they are still a total abortion? Has anyone ordered/installed one recently or has this thread basically killed this product?

I think that until BMR actually adresses the non-adjustable fit issue and talks to us, the product is "pretty much f**ked."

Still, we are all waiting for some members to drop coin on one and report back to SVTP.

That's why I asked. The money I don't care about, but the time I do. I wouldn't be willing to buy it without knowing all the issues are fixed. It's a damn shame because it's offered at a great price.

Mine fit perfectly. They retooled their machines to fix the issue last I heard. And this issue was only for their heavy duty unit or w.e it's called. Reach out to them. They are pretty good about answering the phone

We're you able to adjust it to get it centered properly or was it maxed out? Also just to confirm it sounds like you only did the standard version, correct?

Yes..but the heavy duty road race unit is the one most of us are interested in!
And some have supposedly gotten the "fixed" RR units and found no adustment.

But thanks for your input.

BMR needs to contact the folks who are still interested in the RR unit, preferably a new one and not a fixed unit. We at SVTP want them to be successful!

I got one of the first heavy duty units to install. After plenty of back and forth with them it was clear it wasn't going to fit. I cut and ground on it to a point it wasn't going to be safe. I made them well aware if this thread.
I'll be honest here and say I don't think they have any intention of getting these corrected. We are coming up on the two year mark, plenty enough time to fix the jig. They eventually took care of me but I ended up going with MM. Fit right in, no issues.
I hope they figure it out because competition is good. I just don't see it happening. Too many newer cars to build parts for.

I think the issues were only with the premium version. The standard version was fine from the start.

They made a couple changes, but it still wasn't 100%.

After 2 years of customer complaints, its funny they have yet to dial in the design of the k member... Sheesh!

I really really wanted one when they came out (premium, with spring perches) but I'm not running the risk until multiple guys give it the thumbs up

Right, and I'm not going to call them because that's pointless. They are just going to say, "Yes we fixed everything. It's all sunshine and rainbows now. What's your credit card number?" I wanted the Premium with Spring Perches as well, but until there is a positive track record that is verified by actual customers I won't touch it.

I'd say you are correct. I bought the standard version for the "pre sale" price and it fit great. It's been on the car about 2 years now, maybe longer.
