- famous individuals use them to suck hard earned money out of regular folks (everyone has their ‘own coin’ )
- purchase drugs / etc
- launder money
I don’t know why any person would risk taking Bitcoin as payment. Way too volatile.

Not rumors.
Both Binance and Celsius either halted intentionally or had technical errors.
Not sure if those are watched by the FDIC or not. They may not have the money to cover the withdrawals.

Look, I made about $15k last year off of a $500 investment. But I believe this is not a long term investment since there is no regulation. I am sure I have upset some weebs, or whatever, I don’t care. People can pound their chest and use all the excuses but the fact is that you are not up or down until you sell. And if the exchange stops your withdrawal, trades, etc then it is not a hedge or saving grace against anything.

I mean it’s not like there haven’t been restrictions from banks.
I asked because i did not know what the terms are for that type of account. I would asume some state and federal laws could possibly protect the individual. If that is not the case then. my understanding would be then technically you dont own anything in that account. The company can choose what they decide. What they want to be yours.
