I figured I would get a bit of an update. Progress is on hold as of right now. I am finishing up the school year. I am wondering when it comes to the problem of the frame damage are the crash bar, bumper and fender mount points, and hood latch positions the same on all New Edge Mustangs? I ask as it's easy to find a V6 front end and take it and part the car out and keep the front end. I may make a few hundred on top of having some of the parts that are needed. I have heard the V6 Front clip will work, however, I would like to confirm this.
If it will work then are there any differences, such as motor mounts or K members?

What are the recommended upgrades? I have a few that I had thought of

GT500 Intercooler Pump
IRS bushings (FTBR)
Half shafts
Alternator
Clutch
Maximum motorsports camber plates
H&R springs
B&M Ripper Shift
CTS-V Big Brake Kit or Cobra R
Cobra R steering rack?
Brake Ducts
flaming river steering shaft or Maximum motorsports

N2MB WOTBOX

EDIT
IF SOMEONE HAS A LIST OF ALL TERMINATOR SPECIFIC PARTS SEND ME THE LIST OR A LINK

The frame is the same but man just about everything on a cobra is specific to a cobra. Thats why it would be nuts to try to do this without a parts car unless you feel like spending 40k to restore it by piecing it together.

There was a guy on facebook selling a front apron setup from a mystic looking car for $30.00 or it was going to the scraper.

I believe it was a terminator group. If nothing else post up there as there are tons of cars being parted out and maybe someone will take pity on you and help you out. I know if I had a gt or V6 she'll I'd give you the front clip off it for free. I have the kmember off a 04 OW terminator I'd let you have but I don't believe there is anything special about the cobra kmember and it wouldn't be worth shipping it.

Spending $8k on sophisticated wiring is completely outrageous.

Unless this car is your main source of income, you don’t need it and I caution going down that rabbit hole.

Completely unneeded. It seems you have a curiosity of all the cool things you can do, but some of your ideas are incredibly unnecessary for a street car. I really suggest you take all of these opinions in to account, most of the guys on here have been there, done that when I comes to upgrades (myself included). Sometimes cars are beyond saving and this might be an example. Nonetheless, good luck.

Well, time for an update. Iv got the Cobra home and have let it sit. I did not want to get into it as I was set to move in a few months. With that time down to 2 weeks I am looking at picking up some cheap parts before we uproot and move to Lima, OH. My roommate is also a muscle car guy so we will do some work on it together. Iv found a rear wing. As well.

What parts do you need, besides everything? (Other than a rear spoiler)

So I the a lot of parts for it, I'd say drive train and engine but the big thing if I can get one is I need a the full front "half cut"

As the frame is bent. And it could provide a new front clip, engine, radiator, harness dashboard, steering rack, front suspension, bumpers, fenders, hood and other parts.

Why bother OP? You’re going to spend more fixing this and having a salvage title vs just buying a used one.

Sometimes people just need to make their mistakes and learn from it. I hope hes able to complete it but this car is a train wreck and not worth saving. And I've saved a few cars.

Why save it, because Why not. I know it's financially stupid. I am well aware that it is gonna be in the 40k range but I don't care a about the money. It gives me an opportunity to learn every inch of that car. At the end of the day I can't take that money to the grave. I know its dumb but it's a waste of money I am ok with. At the end of the day this is my dream Mustang and it will be basically brand new at the end so I would never sell it, because I would not want to nor would I ever get my money back. I managed to score the decklid and wing for $150 off of a local guy. Not a bad deal!

Trying to save for parts but this was an opportunity I'd have been stupid to pass up on. I need to try and fix the third brake light with some clear apoxy. Rather then buy a new one.

I'm confused as hell at this point. LOL. Above, you said, "Why save it, because Why Not. I know it's financially stupid. I am well aware that it is gonna be in the 40k range but I don't care a about the money."

And yet, on page one of this thread you said, "Low wage is a problem."

So, now spending $40K on a complete rebuild isn't a problem?

I am not gonna be on that for very long, I'm most likely leaving that position soon anyway. I will also say that 40k was more a price for all new parts from a dealership. Some things a may buy used it the components are in good shape and not crucial. You make a good point, however I plan to leave my current job and work someplace else. Where I am going to be my living expenses are going to be fairly low so it will free up more money. I also factored at least 3-5 years for this project. This is not an overnight project. I do see where your coming from.

It's his "boat*."

Dude's got a DEEP hole to find a way out of but he's got his heart set on doing it. I, as well as A LOT of other people would never attempt to "save" this car for so many reasons that have already been stated.

But the answer to your "why not" question OP is because of trying to title/register it.

Good luck little dude.

*boat == a hole in the water you throw money in to*

*edit* 3-5 years for this car?! Dude, judging from your age, work history, experience, income, etc (which I've only gathered from your limited posts, I don't know you) you're an order of magnitude off on your time estimate for this car.

*edit 2* take all of your estimated costs, labor, and time for this project, no matter how accurate and well thought out your estimates might be, and then double every figure

$22 a day for 5 years. That's what I need to get this done. Yes the car is bad. I know, I look at it every day. It's bad, but I could worse. It's got some of the terminator parts on it still, the mirrors and side skirts. I just got the wing for it. It took me a few months to find a wing at a good price but I did that. I do realize that yes this could hit a road block that I can't overcome. If that happens you will know. But if every time there was a bad Cobra we just scrapped it then there wouldn't be any more left.

The car has no structural rust. It's all just the surface and can be sanded and repainted.
That stereotypical noise from the door hinges when a door of a crashed car is not there. Surprisingly enough the car from the firewall back is in perfect shape besides some bondo on the passenger side rear quarter panel. It's fixed badly but not bad enough that It can't wait till down the road. If I go to repaint il end up redoing that myself. As far as an engine set up, I'm thinking of building that when I'm in collage as there is a high performance engines class I have to take. That's a cross that bridge when I get to it thing.
