And yes it's electric, which I know you guys LOVE. The good news is it also has a potent 600cc 2 cylinder that recharges the electric battery...lolololol.

2016 BMW i3 with only 21k miles on it. Car is dam near mint. Got it for 24k. Really well equipped imo.

I didn't intend to buy another Turo car but the Mach E has been rented nearly every single day in just a 3 week period. The renters have all been great so far as well...only issue i have so far is i selected unlimited mileage on it so it already has 4200 miles...eek.

I drove the i3 most of the day yesterday and was very impressed with it. Car is huge on the inside, has great pep and just feels way ahead of it's time. My wife and kids did make fun of me, so i await the onslaught from you guys as well.

just remember i have 007 to clap back with if needed...lolololololol...pics...(no dragy times planned for the i3 yet)

What kinda daily rates are you getting on turo? Like what do you end up with after their cut?
my cut is 75/25. to me this is the safest bet with there insurance/benefits at that cut.

only need to rent the mach e out 5-6 days a month to make the insurance/car payment on it, anything after that is jingle in the bank.

the i3 SHOULD be way more lucrative since it was so cheap and will still rent between 60-80 bucks a day.

that being said it's not a huge amount of money to be made unless you have at least 6 cars going IMO...and that many cars would be a full time job. still a really cool app that can earn someone a few k a month if done right.

and the reviews of the mach e have been crazy...people act like this car was sent from the heavens above. i feel like telling these turo renters to never drive a plaid...lol. they would think they died and went to heaven.

i was gonna ask about insurance, seems like that's a big mess with uber/lyft stuff.
i have them covered on turo and on my own policy as well. less than 100 a month for both vehicles gives me good peace of mind. the i3 is 35 a month for full coverage...no excuse for something that cheap. lol

Born and raised Brockton. Living in Naples.
just imagine a guy your size cruising the streets of naples in it...the women would go bonkers! Plus you'd look even bigger getting out of a small car. lololololol
I would look like a Guido stepping out of a shoe. :)
I don’t need those type of sloots in my life. Lol bro.

What percentage of your Turo customers are picking up/ dropping off at the airport?

You got a pretty good gig going on. I might have to jump on the Turo wagon too. I have a decent sized airport near me, Ontario airport, a sub branch of LAX. Wonder what kind of business I could drum up.

Just looked it up, I’m 3.9 miles away from ONT.

Do you take the car to the airport for them or?

Either I do or I have a friend do it. I have a 100 charge for that dropoff location. It's pretty easy though, I pull up to the valet at the Hilton Ohare, hand the customer the keys, smile at the mexican valet guy and uber home. Lol. I can also park the car in hourly parking, leave the key in it and either unlock from the app or give the customer the door code on the mach e. Lots of options.

When I used turo in the past I had one owner leave the key to his brand new supra in his gas tank flap at LAX...lol. Def not a place I would be doing something that risky.

At denver when I rented the hellcat the owner left the key in the car. Again, I would not be that foolish even though I know the risk is very low.

Imagine a homeless guy seeing that supra owner leave the key in the gas flap...dude would be driving like Brian Earl Spillner a few minutes later!lololol
