I ordered it new. It arrived in July, 2019. It's a bad-ass car.

It was ordered with no options as a performance car. It has the race seats and not the sofa seats.

At AMP as the fastest car.

AMP:
It will brake quickly at T-1 and drop down to power out with three quick shifts.

The tires have loads of grip in all corners. The engine can bail me out of a missed apex.

Not a lot of love for this car on this forum. I don't know why.

Maybe because it is so good right from Ford (except for Ford Quality) that no mods are needed for it to be a drivers car?

I don’t mind the GT350’s if I’m honest. However they’re more or less for track racers and things. I’ve never done such a thing, only on Go-Karts if I’m honest. I think they sound awesome, and look great. Still a Shelby in my book, so I’m happy it exists.

You guys didn't have room for the last (only) Ford Flat Plane Crank 5.2L in a car other than the Ferrari or the new C8 Corvette Z06?

I’ve owned 27 mustangs and my GT350R is the finest . Sounds , handling, brakes, comfort, and supercar looks . Carroll Shelby said the name doesn’t make the car , the car makes the name . Car and drivers top ten greatest of all time G.O.A.T. Lists only two Fords , the 1965 mustang and the current Shelby GT350. Mine is the only Ford Show Shelby GT350R to be sold to the public. Chassis PP011 . Your mag metallic is a beauty

I think the GT350 doesn’t get the love it deserves because it isn’t a 700hp Hellcat that will hang or outrun anything. Being fast is less recognized than being the fastest, which no one will ever be.

I don't care for the catfish looking front end but I'd still own one. Unfortunately I'm the poor.

Funny, I've always preferred the GT-350's front grill over the GT-500. I remember seeing a 2019 GT-350 in my Ford dealership's showroom, and couldn't keep from going back over to it repeatedly while waiting for service on my Ford Edge. There were to subtle differences between it and the GT-500 that just made it look nicer IMO.

I know of 3 now personally that have had engines replaced.

Would not touch that voodoo motor.

The gt350 doesn't get any love because the motor is coyote project gone bad that shakes itself to death in short order.

It will go down in history as a turd engine experiment.

OP, swap to a coyote and live in peace. After all, it's just a Mustang!

I didn't know that engine had issues with failures. I'm not doubting you or anything but where did you read about it? I'd like to read it. Make myself feel better about not having one lol

Countless documented issues over on that shit forum mustang6g.

Here's one with 2160 miles that let go lol. Lots of examples of this unfortunately.

The S550 front end, imo, is a miss. But with that being said I would still drive the wheels off either vehicle you mentioned.
