Looking for a lost Notch

Hey everyone, I'm looking for a 1986 notchback for a friend of mine hopefully, this forum can help. The VIN is
1FABP26MXGF226263. It was a Massachusetts car for some time but then was sold in New Hampshire just not sure what part of NH. Here are some pictures. Any help is appreciated, thank you, everyone.

Look, this car isn't about what it looks like or how it runs. This car is very sentimental to the guy. He just wants it back is all.

I hired a private eye last year to find my old notch I bought new in 91.
It is worth a shot if he's serious about it.
I knew the city/state my car was in from the car fax and googled PI's in the city. PI found owner, went to the house and gave him my information. Took about a week from an idea to the owner calling me.
Seems a little creepy but the current owner and I trade stories, pictures and videos of the car....and I'm hopefully next in line to buy it back!
PI only charged me $100 to do it....Mass may be a different story.

Mine was not an original v8 car, I did just double check vins and they are not matching.

Edit: I would ask on the yellowbullet forum and yellowbullet and turbobullet Facebook pages if you haven’t though.

That's awesome man glad you found it. Finding old cars that we guys had some time ago, is all about the sentimental value, memories, and all the above.

Good luck, I would love to have my 86' notch back that I sold in 91.

Running the VIN will easily tell the car's history and if someone currently owns it and where it's located. The problem is only certain folks have the authority to be able to do it. A PI is one.

Insurance folks can run VIN's as well. I found one of my old Mustangs with the aid of my insurance agent. Ultimately the current owner did not want to sell.

All those avenues have been exhausted. Now I'm relying on others in the Mustang community to help out with the search. I appreciate your comment tho bud.
