Also - how many had the old dial cable boxes when they first came out? And how many stuck the folded paper in between the dial so that you could get a glimpse of the premium channels and possibly see a nipple on a weekend night? Lol
On our cable box, if you switched back and forth between a normal channel and a 'bad' channel, you could catch a glimpse of what was being shown on the bad one. Had to do what you had to do as a kid!

Erector set - explains my love of wrenching.
BB guns - we used to have wars in an abandoned overgrown cemetery. Strict rules about below the waist only. We all got scars...

I thought people your age pushed cans down the dirt road with sticks?

Had a big fish tank that the seal was bad so I used it to make scenes for those little plastic dinosaurs. Lol

Played a ton of baseball in people’s yards.

Legos, matchbox/hot wheels, Atari

Legos are definitely still a monthly purchase. Yes I'm 38 and yes you can go **** yourself if you judge

Model trains were big in my household. Classic lionel pre and post war, LGB and all sorts of HO and N guage. Still break out the LGB at Christmas

I've been reliving the memories while birthday and Christmas shopping for my niece and now twin nephews on the way.
Power wheels
Splash it
Super soakers
Tubelox
I forget the name of it, but the "easy bake oven" for boys that melted plastic sheets into car bodies
Talking Battleship

Holy crap you guys bring back a lot of childhood memories LOL. Especially with the Big Wheel.

I had all kinds of stuff growing up that you guys mention. However, some of the stuff I had that you guys have not mentioned include the following:

SSP Smash up Derby. LOVED crashing these into each other and watching S#!T fly every where LMAO!!!

I remember getting this field goal kicking game. It was awesome until my brother put the kicker so far back he had to whack the S#!T out of the kickers head that he literally broke the kickers leg. That was the end of that game LMAO!!!

Do you guys remember this one? Took like a half hour to get everything set up and then you flip the switch just to watch all the players vibrate in a circle? LMAO!!!!

I want a model train set area in my next house.

My wife has gotten into the Funko Pops and it has spilled over a bit.

So much of what's already been said. Super Soakers, Trains, micromachines, legos, gameboy. Tons of pickup football, street hockey, biking, etc. One toy I wish I still had was the diecast Voltron.

The original Voltron yes that is a highly highly and very expensive endeavor in todays collector market.

I was going to say the daughter looked nothing like old pops but I guess I was wrong. But oh yes the original BB is still the best, sadly I think it was my mom that torched, melted the sub (blue fold out) right behind the conning tower with a cig!!!! and so it had this dished out blacken around the edges mark on it
