So much of what's already been said. Super Soakers, Trains, micromachines, legos, gameboy. Tons of pickup football, street hockey, biking, etc. One toy I wish I still had was the diecast Voltron.
I have a "funny" story about Voltron. I had both of them when I was kid. I'm not sure how many people know there was another version with cars. I didn't have plans to ever get rid of them as most kids don't. The summer after I turned 11 I went on a summer trip with my grandparents. After I got home my parents were telling me about the things I missed. One of them being a yard sale for my Boy Scout troop. Apparently one of the things that was fun to watch was the adults try to figure out how to put Voltron together. At first I laughed and said yeah, that had to be funny. Then it hit me.... they went through my room while I was gone and got rid of stuff they didn't think I needed. So along with my original Voltron they also got rid of my original Optimus Prime and a couple other Transformers. Pissed would be an understatement to how I was feeling.

A long time later they got me a replacement Voltron set, but it's just not the same.

That Carrier as ****ing huge. My mom was like WTF.....
And the price of it it was about $400-500 dollars in todays money at $129, my mother was an assistant manager for a toy and hobby store chain back in 83-91. Sadly they are no longer in business but had almost 70 stores from Michigan to eastern Indiana, down to Kentucky over Ohio and western PA. Hobby Center Toys. But the USS Flagg was not a real fast mover and it took her store over 4 years to sell the two that they got.

In relation to GI Joe....

Towards the end, we realised you can undo the screw in the back, split them apart and reconfigure them to your liking.

So for instance, take Scarlett apart, remove her head and swap it with a hooded Cobra Commander.

Was creating a trans as early as 11 yr old

What was the transformer type shit that were all cougars or something that went together?

Anyone have he-man? I didn’t but I was jealous of my friends.

That's almost how I lost half my stuff Bob. I was a military brat. Every time we moved my mom went through my room and threw away half my stuff. Said I never played with it so it was gone. Man, do you know how much some of those Hot Wheels are worth today????

Hate Will Smith, but this fits LMAO!!!

Legos are definitely still a monthly purchase. Yes I'm 38 and yes you can go **** yourself if you judge

Model trains were big in my household. Classic lionel pre and post war, LGB and all sorts of HO and N guage. Still break out the LGB at Christmas

I've been reliving the memories while birthday and Christmas shopping for my niece and now twin nephews on the way.
Power wheels
Splash it
Super soakers
Tubelox
I forget the name of it, but the "easy bake oven" for boys that melted plastic sheets into car bodies
Talking Battleship

What Lego sets do you collect?

LMAO, no judging here. My wife cannot understand how I can be a grown man and still collect Hot Wheels and 1/18 diecast Mustangs.
