My opinion, you're stereotyping a whole segment of a profession. We have no issues here, are there bad ones, hell yeah. There's bad guys in all different jobs. Do you hammer the stock investment guys because they have inside info, the doctors who **** up and almost kill you?
Do you want an actual, sincere, honest response to this?

It is my choice to engage with said Doctors or Investment bankers and it is my DUTY to do my due diligence before letting someone cut into my body or manage my funds.
No one has this option when dealing with law enforcement.
In my humble opinion Your examples are not comparable.
Cops get to shoot people and the damages awarded to the widow/survivor’s are paid for by the same tax payer money used to pay for the same fine upstanding heroes that just shot your ass.
It is NOT the same. Law Enforcement MUST be held to a higher standard.
And they are NOT.

And my past is no secret. It’s easily found here on the forum.
I also have probably the cleanest criminal record on this forum.
