My buddy has American Racing Headers on his car with the premium version. They fit pretty well from what I saw. That's with stock style motor mounts.

Are those long tubes? What does stock style mounts mean? Not trying to nitpick, but I ran ES mounts and Prothane mounts that were both stock style and neither worked. Had to go with MM. This was on my standard K though. Would like to know exactly what your buddy ran that worked.

Yes they are. Stock replacement mounts. The Ford kind you can order online. At least I'm guessing they're Ford going by the labels on them.

I didn't have problems with my standard version BMR, new OEM motor mounts and BBK longtubes. Seemed to all fit well enough, have plenty of clearance and just got the car aligned today.

I go pick it up in the am so i'll see how it is then but I didn't have any real issues with mine.

just reading posts throughout the few years, is there a certain combination of motor mounts , headers, that would best accommodate the BMR k member at this point? Looking to go arh headers and assess the motor mount situation, but i get the sense going into the k member investment might need specific mounts / headers planned. Anyone have any general thoughts at this point?

Would be cool to get a list together. I'm on BMR standard K, MM solid motor mounts and Bassani mids. Tight fit, but everything fits. Going turbo here this winter so will be interesting to see how everything fits.

Did you have your oem k member and then went to a BMR? Do you know if the BMR is the only brand that offers the spring perches?

I have the AJE K member and had the spring perches. Worked great and no fitment issues. I have switched to coil overs so removed the perches and changed lower control arms. I have those for sale if anyone's interested.

I have the same setup but so far I just left the arms with the perches in place.

I actually went from a Team Z to a BMR. I had fitment issues with the Team Z so basically gave it away to a local guy that was going to mod it.

Spring perches was never really important to me. Coilovers are definitely the way to go.

Were you able to get the turbo kit in yet? How did everything fit? Which Turbo Kit?
