Rinseless Wash

I've thinking about it more and more as the touchless car washes kind of suck and they charge you a good amount of money for the service. Eighteen bucks for the one that I use and is right below to the top wash. Top wash is twenty bucks. It doesn't do that great of a job, but it's better than nothing during the winter months.
During the warm weather months, I do the hand wash.

Anyone do the winter rinseless washes on their vehicles?

Hang in there, Tony, milder weather is coming soon. I'm seeing a couple of milder days (almost 50 degrees) coming in mid-March, following by more mid to high 40s. Hot water in a bucket should work for hand washing. You might be the only guy outside doing a hand wash, but it's doable. I have a hot/cold water hookup in my garage so I can rinse with warm water, too. Drying is done in my garage.

@CobraBob I ordered the kit on Monday. lol
It should be here next week. I'll still be cold doing it outside, but the truck will be clean at least. LOL

Can't wait for the nice warm weather!

Yeah hot water buckets, and a pair of insulated rubber gloves, makes things possible. Might not do as good a job as in the summer, but anything is better than nothing. Winter sucks.

If I get a 45 degree day, I’m washing vehicles. However, I’ll run a hose in my heated garage and wash cars there. The potential fallout is the car wash water freezing on the cement in front of the garage.

My "toys" never really get dirty. Some of them might see water once a year. I've yet to put water on our 67 fastback and it will be two years in July that we've owned it.

But my daily get the carwash and still does a crap job at cleaning it.
