Well I got in touch with the company GGG who made the infamous F'kn fast shift knobs. They will only make another batch if we can get 30 people together to buy one. The price will be $90 shipped to you.This gets you a brand new cobra knob with the new insert on top.

Can they sell just the metal disk? The reason I ask is that I have the anniversary carbon looking leather knob, which I could just put the disc onto rather than replace it.

Yeah, they are definitely jacking up the price this time around. I think they were around $60 before or so. I also doubt it has much to do with having to do a new run since it's not like it's the hardest item to make, but hey, think of the other crap you'd waste $90 on in a week. This is guaranteed to get a laugh by anyone who gets in your car.

J/K, but seriously, were they really only 60 last time around.

See if we can't get like 100 people and they drop it to 60-70:shrug:

Price last run was $80 or $85 dollars, so it'not to bad a price jump. Just a word to the wise, if they tell you 2 months, figure on getting them by X-mas '09. They're good guys, but their government work ocmes first and you will probably wait way longer then they say. Good thing is you give them a credit card to guarantee you get one, but they will not charge you card until they actually ship it, when ever it is!!!
