Until it meets reserve, I do not count it as a "possible" realistic price for a 2000 Cobra R in this specific condition and miles. As long as the reserve is not met, "friends" of the seller could be trying to "bait" a bidder/buyer into bidding this car up to meet the reserve and then the high bidder is locked into buying it. This may not be the case, but who knows?? In the recent past, now, and in the future, it is hard to beat "new" condition.

Hi Robert.....I sold my 2000R for about 58K, with a little less wrapping, but a wrapper none the less (60 miles)...Basically minus the white plastic and a few other items.......The ebay car is in a condition where it would not show very well in a Mustang Show because of the over-use of the white protective film....It covers too much of the car.....Most of the wrappers we own do not have an over-usage of white film, if any....Also, being in manufacturing, and using this type of film, I do know that the light-tack adhesive, if not removed, becomes brittle, and is almost impossible to remove with age.....I don't remember Ford every using this much white film on it's vehicles to this day.....If anyone out there purchased a new 2000R, we would sure like to know if this amount of film was normal.......Also, I agree with your characterization of the bids on this auction as being somewhat suspect...........
