Congrats to the original poster! I just purchased black 05 M6 C6 a couple of months back. I added a ported FAST, Kooks long tubes, Vararam CAI, MGW shifter and a tune. Definately woke up the LS2. The Vettes prices have come down like crazy. I was lucky and was able to keep my 06 turbo Stang.

yeah, i did that too. i've currently got the top end torn apart again and am putting some other mods on it, along with some new stuff in the drivetrain. you guys will like it when it's done :beer:.
BTW, thanks for all the compliments from everyone. and i wasn't intentionally trying to start an argument, i was just excited to pick up my new car and i just wanted to share it with this forum since i've been a member here for quite some time, so my apologies if anyone thought that i was trying to bash the svt or ford brand in any way.
He posted in pics and vids so I see nothing wrong. Its not like he came to your specific part of the site and posted it. Why can't you just be happy for the guy getting a new car?
And the v6 not being a mustang is obviously only your opinion because it is a fact the v6 is a mustang whether you say so or not.
Let me tell you what I see around here since you have let us know about your area. I see mustangs all the time, v6's and gt's. I see mach1's every once in awhile and cobras even less. I see corvettes a lot more than the machs and cobras but I see more mustangs overall. I have only seen 2 c6z's in my area. I have seen maybe 2 c5z's.
So you see in my part of town its a different story than yours. Neither of us can say our situations are the norm for everone else. I can ony speak for me like you can only for you. So you can't come in here and try to state your opinions as facts but I do respect your opinion.

I love my c5 zo6 and the best thing is its paid for, its not as fast as my cobra was but it still pulls good. I guess there is no replacement for displacement ha.
