YEEEEHAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!
The car passed w/ flying colors.
Dont't trash your stock H's

This is in response to my failed thread:
http://www.svtperformance.com/forums/terminator-talk-229/571183-whippled-failed-cali-smog-test.html

The car has:
2.3 whipple
accufab TB
60's
Tune
Stock H
Bassani catback

My test results:

@ 15 MPH / 2015 RPM:
HC - MAX=52, MEASURED=9
CO - MAX=.49, MEASURED=.02
NO - MAX=424, MEASURED=8

@ 25 MPH / 2200 RPM:
HC - MAX=36, MEASURED=5
CO - MAX=.46, MEASURED=.01
NO - MAX=711, MEASURED=6

I changed out the X pipe for the stock H. I also matched up my timing to the stock AMZ2 calibrating in the bottom 4 or 5 rows. I found the timing was only different by about 1 degree. Because of how clean the car was, I am almost 100% the timing changes had minimal effect and still would have passed if I simply switched out the midpipe...LOOK HOW CLEAN!!!!!!

i don't remember if you said in the original thread, but what catted x-pipe did you have? i'm guessing bassani since you also have a bassani cb? i'd heard bad things about thope x's not passing smog :(
ihave a magnaflow catted-x, hoping there's no drama with mine when the time comes.

Yup, it's a bassani x...There's a good chance the magnaflow won't pass either, but may want to try and post up the results...the thing w/ the stock H is that each bank has 2 cats in-line for a total of 4 cats that are mostlikely much more dense than the "hi-flow" bassani...just look how ridiculously clean the car passed...remember I have all the supporting mods for a twin screw too...60's, BAP, tune, 2400 MAF...all hail to the stock H...

Now it's time to take it off...LOL
