Usually I don't like to create threads, but i figure why not!

I am asking any MGW shifter owner to post a video of them shifting their car, I wanna compare it to the stock one on how much easier it is to shift. with the MGW.

no vid, but i can tell you the orange handle is bad ass. much more precise, firmer and way shorter than the factory one.

thanks guys wasn't quite what I was looking for, was more or less looking for someone that had a passenger in the car recording one of you guys shifting with the MGW shifter I wanna see a difference between stock and that one, I had a hard time with I guess the stock shifter, back when I was working at a car dealer I forget what mods the guy said but It may or may not have been the shifter.

I love the one in my 96. I bought my 04 with a Hurst and I put a Pro 5.0 handle on it, since the pervious owner left the stock handle and aluminum bushings. It's short too...but still doesn't compare to the MGW in my 96.

yea I am not to sure if the guy that sold it to the dealership had the stock shifter on it, he may have, I remember talking to him briefly but I forgot what he said, all i remember it was hard to shift.

MGW is not easier to shift at all Exact opposite..., it is much more firm and precise though, with a shorter throw...

T5 and T56 are some of the easiest trannies I think ford made, IMO... Not sure how much issue you could be having with a t56....

It's not a T-56, this was on my T-45 equipped GT. Don't mind the 03-04 gauges the previous owner installed them....

I think this will give you an idea as it shows me actually using the shifter

Incase you are wondering I had stock manifolds, Pypes O/R X and Spintech Prostreets...

My Dad said I better not drive by a cemetery because I would wake the dead lol
