My uncle just went to California and picked up a 2005 ford GT with 9800 Miles, Red with White Stripes, 4 Option Car, and it has Ford Racing Exhaust on it, just the catback version, not the headers and cat delete one, still sounds amazing. HE let me take it out bymyself, and mind you i am 18. The car is absolutely amazing. Has tons of guts, i gassed it a few times, once in first gear, it hooked but once the boost comes on it comes in hard, and his tires are the originals and arent in the best condition, so she spun good, but absolutely amazing car.

The few things that crack me up is that it is like driving a refined lowered version of my cobra, just with poor visibility, and brake feel is the same, the clutch is light as hell, it snaps necks, and that the door unlock buttons are like ones out of a ford escape, and has the the mustang remote door opener... Just had to share it, new dream car, ahah and at$112,500 ill be getting one by the time im 30 i hope ahahah along with a gt500 of course

So in one sentence it hooked and in the next.....it spun a lot? lol

Then you went on to explain it feels just like a cobra?

Either you're a retard of you didn't drive it. Take your pick.

I'm leaning towards he never drove it. Add on the fact that any sane man would not let an 18 year old kid drive his newly purchased Ford GT by himself, and we have a :bs: story.

I figured that he just meant that the interior was equally as shitty.

The FGT interior is all brushed aluminum and leather. It's on par with other exotics, it's not plastic like a Mustang/Camaro/Vette/etc..

every knob, switch and gauge is solid brushed aluminum

Badass, except where they decided to attach the inside door panels with double sided tape:bash:

haha really? Are you talking about the panels that say "Ford GT"?

2005.ford.gt.20138079-E.jpg

Yes, really.

I'm talking about the brushed aluminum trim on the door. They have been known to pop right off. You can get clips to hold them on now.

I'd be willing to look past that for such a special car.:burnout:

Maybe they got them off ebay and stuck them on at the last minute.

I agree, that's really cheap for a FGT. I've never seen a single used FGT under $130K..

+1, only cars that I would imagine this cheap are salvage titled cars. I too am entertained by the refined cobra comment.

Nice kill!!...oh wait..

I'm guessing this kid saw how popular the "I drove a ZR1 today" thread was and wanted to be the center of attention for a while.

I don't agree with some of the things you said only cause im sure the things you said are a understatement but its not unheard of for someone to trust you driving there expensive cars I borrow my friends maserati, ac Cobra replica or his range rover for the weekend and have taken out his bentley arnage for a night or two but my favortite is the maserati quattroporte and the ac cobra replica. And honeslty I want too impressed with the arnage as far as luxury

I sat in a Ford GT for 15-20 minutes once, just looking at everything inside the car. I saw no resemblance to any Mustang I've ever been in. Which Mustang has carbon fiber seats? The only thing I don't like is the cheap, rubbery looking seat covers. Might be ok for the concept, but cover that CF with something a bit nicer feeling for the production model.
