ide like a set this week..

Other then brighter and ur reverse lights being bright as all hell.. I dont see the big deal about leds.. any pics during the day orrrr i dunno..

So the normal kit where u splice the wires works just as well as the plug and play? <-- if so ill order right now.

And to the tails really go that much faster without the regulator?

leds provide a instant on/off effect instead of a fade on/off that incandescent bulbs have, thus providing a crisper more noticeable sequence. And my reverse bulbs are not leds they are modified incandescent.

and the modified flasher will slow down the tails and look nice, but the front turns will slow down as well which looks funny to me.

Thanks to help from LDC ^ i ordered my kit from Autotrix. Along with the regulator that slows it down. Also LED lights. So my setup will pretty much match his exactly.. Cept itl be slower since ill have the regulator, and itl be on an orange car.

Thanks man. Cant wait to get this thing on when it gets here!

Wish i didnt have to sign up to order it though lol.. oh well didnt take more than 1 minute.

today i installed some load resisters and loaded the sequential tails with LED's... i think it Looks sick.

also i bent the prongs on a 3157 bulb backwards and installed them in the reverse lights. Gives each side like another 12 watts or so running both filaments.

autotrix sequentials = $50
GP Thunder 20 LED wide angle bulbs = $14 a Pair ,cheapest i could find em
Load resisters = 10 bucks

So about $105 give or take. I love em.

I'd like to know more about your setup.. Load resistors? And how exactly did you increase the wattage of the 3157's? It looks great, but I think I would prefer to do the modified flasher to slow it down a bit.

he didnt increase the wattage... the load resistors are to slow down the flicker of the tailights(couldnt think of a better word).. Because of the low amount of power the LED lights use, the computer thinks that a bulb is burnt out. So the load resistor tricks it into thinking everything is fine.

Ive ran into a few problems. One mainly being im working on a car with a dead(and i mean dead) battery. And my neighbor borowed our battery charger like 2 weeks ago and is now on vacation.

So once I finish everything up(finally all wired up properly).. Ill take videos of the setup without then with the modified flasher since i have it.

i increased the wattage on the reverse bulbs by bending the prongs on a 3157 bulb backwards so that both filaments light up instead of the single on a 3156 bulb.

I would really like to see the video of this when you get them installed. I have thought about installing this on my CO cobra for sometime now.

Well.. They are installed and on. Besides the point that it wont pass inspection in my state. I did not use the resistors or have to think of another way to put them on.
They make it so my outside 3rd section of the light doesnt work. So needless to say my lights still blink fast even with the flasher.

Before i put the new flasher on you could barely tell they were sequential yet alone blinking thats how fast they were.

LCD ide like to know how you got yours to work as they dont seem to do squat for mine
