I am going to take of the GT/CS stripes on my car and put on the stock 5.0 badges instead (already have them), but my car doesnt have the alignment holes the regular GT fenders have. Can someone with a 5.0 take some measurments for me so I know where to put these badges? Id really appreciate it.

Thanks!

When you ordered (or picked up) your 5.0 badges from Ford parts, did they come with alignment hole pins on them?
I'd be surprised if they did, I'd think they'd just be adhesive.

I honestly feel the new 5.0 badge is a bit high on the fender anyway.
If I were you I'd just place them on the fender (in similiar location) just a bit lower, but what looks good to you.

They have the alignment pins, but the fenders on the CA special don't have the holes for the pins. I broke the pins off and stuck them on by looking at pictures on line. I will get some pics up tomorrow of the car with the stripes off and the 5.0 badges on. Looks a little cleaner, I'm happy with it.

Good deal.
Guess you could of gotten a small drill bit and drilled the tiny locating pins holes in your fender too. Then used a super sticky adhesive in and around the holes to ensure they'd stay on for good.
Either way, your car is a 5.0 so it's not like you are being a poseur and putting 5.0 badges on a non 5.0 (which I'm absolutely positive nimrod losers will be doing in the future, if they haven't already).

Im sure people will put the badges on non 5.0 cars too. I just think the badge looks cleaner than the stripe that was on the car.

Well that's too bad about the holes!!! I was going to remove my badges, but not at the cost of filling and painting my fenders. :bash:
