If you go to the site where you can build out a mustang, this lower valence is a build option on both the v6 and the gt. It has larger openings for the exhaust tips also.

i thought that (besides the 5.0 badge) the only visible distiinction between the bodies of 2010 and 2011 gt's was the lower valence, is that the case?

Someone at the factory must have picked up the lower rear panel out of the V6 stack and put it on my car by accident. :shrug:
I have my fingers crossed that the selling dealer will agree to pay for the correct panel to be installed on my car!
if they dont pay it, you should order a gt500 lower valance, im ordering mine here pretty soon:rockon:

The 2010 also has a trunk lock in the wing and the 11 doesnt
