What’s the best advice to swap the fuel pump?
It’s almost impossible to reach the fuel filter cause of the irs to drop the tank, can I lower the tank with it connected a little bit to get my hands up there better?
No noise when I cycle the key from the pump. I heard from someone else say it might be the pressure sensor on the driver side rail. No fuel in the vacuum line I just checked now
Stock fuel system, bolt on Cobra. Drove the car fine to where I was going about 10 miles. Ran great.
Turn it off go into a store 15 minutes later it starts and started to shutter and stalled out after a few seconds. Turned the key cranked cranked cranked nothing
Cycled the key a few times...
You think I could get away with a single Walbro 255 ? My stock fuel pump just actually went bad so I’m trying to put something in that will prepare me for the blower eventually
I hear these engines with the non forged pistons and rods aren’t happy with FI.
I heard from a few people that going turbo over supercharger puts less strain on the internals. Would this be true? Anyone running lower boost on turbos and these motors hold up ok?
