SEM product called Blendz is what your after to melt the new to old clearcoat . You have to use 2K clear in an aerosol though not the single stage . Personally I would respray the whole tailgate . You will spend more time trying to "fix" that one spot then you would the whole thing .
TR diesel sells a tool on amazon that uses air to find the leaks through the IPR instead of the ICP . It closes the system so you find it immediately without using a scanner or jumper wire to close the IPR . It's $130 and worth every penny .
Put some more break in miles on the new clutch . It is surprising how fast its smoothing out . The last one took the full 500 miles before the chatter stopped .
Pulled the transmission out as my clutch started slipping after 5 years of abuse (about 25,000 miles ). I am definitely getting to old for jackstand style clutch swaps lol.
That looks like the stuff I used on mine years ago . Back then Lowe's carried it on 10' rolls , just enough to do a front door . Weather King was the brand .
