I happen to still have an original Ford Mystichrome upper seat cover for the driver's seat if anyone is interested. I sold the Cobra back in 2012 and it's just been sitting n my office in a box since then...
I was cleaning out my shed earlier this week when I came across a box from Tousley Ford. When I opened it up, I realized what it was - an upper front seat cover for my Mystichrome Cobra Convertible (that I subsequently sold in 2012).
This extremely rare cover was bought new from Tousley Ford...
I'm currently deployed and am not getting to drive and enjoy my Cobra, so I'm thinking of selling it and maybe starting another project when I redeploy later this year. Here's the story on my Mystichrome: I bought it in 05 and it was bone stock with 17K miles. Over the course of the next 5...
Last month I installed LTs on my Cobra so I removed my Bassani Stainless Steel Catted X-pipe and no longer have a need for it. It is the type that comes apart so you can remove the cats if you so desire.

This setup has been on my car for about 3...
Here's some pics of my header install this past weekend. We dropped the k-member and the install was pretty simple:
They fit great and the amazing thing is that the ground clearance was not reduced by the headers:
Spent the weekend installing my MAC ceramic coated headers, SPEC dual-disc clutch, and Evolution Motorsports subframe connectors. It was a fair amount of work, but I am really pleased with all three products.
After dropping the k-member, the header install wasn't that bad. The MAC catted...
If the weather warms up next weekend I'll be pulling out my RAM dual disc clutch from my 04 Cobra. The clutch has about 2,000 miles on it since it was installed in Jan 08. The clutch engages smoothly and has had no problem launching my 600 RWHP Cobra on the street (it has never seen track...
Modern Mustangs of Jacksonville is proud to host our 8th annual Stampede Mustang and Ford Show on October 3, 2009.
Located this year at the Jacksonville Landing. The Jacksonville Landing is one of the best visitor attractions in the city and a focal point of downtown Jacksonville. The...
Last year I installed a RAM dual-disc clutch in my 04 Cobra. The installation was somewhat of a pain, but we worked out all the problems and the clutch works great.
Now, there's only one issue with the clutch, but it's driving me nuts!:cuss: When I press down on the clutch pedal to...
I was finally able to get my Cobra over to the tuner today to dyno and tune my Whipple setup. Oh, course, it just HAD to be the hottest freakin day of the year so far with temps in the shop around 83 - 84 degrees at the time the car was on the dyno.
So, needless to say I fell just a tad...
With the engine upgrades done, I've been working on the fuel system for the last two weekends. So far I've got the dual FPDM setup and the Fore Billet Fuel Hat with dual GT pumps installed:
I'll probably try to get the tank reinstalled today before the Super Bowl Festivities...
Anyone have pictures of their motor with this setup? I'm in the process of installing my polished Whipple 2.3 along with the Fore billet fuel rails (clear) and I was wondering if there's a way to not run the fuel line over the snout of the Whipple.
Any pics would be appreciated.
I just made the leap and bought a polished Whipple 2.3 for the Cobra so the Eaton needs to find a new home. It has a Steigemeier Stage 4 Port and has been on the car less than 2 years (5,000 miles). It's been a great blower but time to upgrade to Whipple Power. It comes with a BilletFlow hub...
