Has anyone installed one of these fiberglass hoods as listed in LMR? I was looking at the louvered style. do they fit as well as a stock hood? be nice to know before I buy as they are pricey Thanks.

ok ,thanks there is nothing wrong with mine I'v cleaned them but I would just like new outlets. I seen a nos set once on ebay, but let them go, I thought at the time it was to much money. big mistake.

are stock exhaust tips still available weld on or clamp?

my 2001 lightning has 189k so this is good info to know. so far I'v changed plugs and intercooler pump, nothing else, runs great.

I just installed procar buckets in my 2001 lightning using the original seat mounts, anyone know of a really cool center console? I really do not want a stock style truck console. Thanks

Thanks Roger, this is a great forum lots of good info. which I need as I just bought my lightning a few months ago.

I ran mustang 18" BBS wheels on my 2001 using 1" billet adapters, 10 and 8.5" with 6' backspacing, comes out even with fenders, so you can run any ford wheel if it clears the rotors.

I run beltech shackles and springs on my 2001, lowered 2in. in front and 1 in. in rear. low enough in front , not much in rear. next I will try spring hangers.
