Yeah, I guess I was playing devil's advocate. I grew up without any advantages and we had to beg and borrow to get by. I'm living the good life as an adult but I'm driven to stack paper rather than spend it. If I spend a chunk I hate to see my number decrease; I want it to always be increasing.

Growing up my best friend's family was into cars and hanging out there got me into them. They restored several including a 1965 Mustang coupe, 1965 Mustang convertible, and 1970 Chevy Nova. Those three cars are etched in my memory forever.

I saw a C7 yesterday and feel the same. Cool but lacks the "it factor" visually. The Mach has "it factor" but isn't the performer of the C7.

Bob, you nailed the look of each of them! I'm not a Vette guy but the C7 looks fabulous and is a better performer for fun factor. There is also a 2015 2LT manual for sale locally that is white; it has 22k miles and is priced at $45k. It has that inferno red interior though...not sure I'm down...
