I just came a cross a 2012 Boss LS that is for sale and the engine tag shows an MP before the production number. Does that mean that the car is a preproduction car? Anyone know how many preproduction cars there were in 2012? Aren't they supposed to be destroyed?

Just wanted to see what others technique for staying away from the stripes on GT500's and Boss' are. I have used blue tape during the detail before but thought there might be an easier way.
