  • When you cut it, you have to cut out the MAF housing. The point is to use a CJ or a JLT thru the housing for the shield. Also you want a bigger MAF tube, so that why its done.
    I have a question for you relating to your stock modified intake. I know that the MAF is molded on to the airbox. After you cut it out, does the MAF housing come out as one full piece? Can the stock MAF housing still be used?
    Reason I am asking is cause I want to modify my stock air box, ( 14' GT 5.0). Instead of buying a new MAF housing, A friend of mine down the street has a 2012 GT500 stock intake collecting dust. Thinking I could just pick his up and cut it out? is this possible?
