Unfortunately after finally getting what I think is the most reliable engine/transmission combo (added forward billet planetary gears with latest 6r80 rebuild ) in the car I just listed it for sale .
Not many bites and won’t be sad if I keep it .

Engine was built by Will @RPG and is truly badass .
He also built the predator based short block in my Hellion car with GT350 heads and the ford racing Gen 2 cams (I presume similar set up in the GT 500)

Here is an example of what a “5.2” will make upping the boost /20 psi .
Blower is a 3.2 KB/3.25 upper pulley/20% OD and heads are stock GT (car used to have GT 350 heads and trapped 145-148 mph with bigger 3.5 pulley). Transmission is 2.66 first gear Magnum XL with 3.31 rear end.
Information about the supercharger 5.2 was included in the press release on 4/18/18.

I bet it uses the 5.2 alluminator XS as originally announced with billet OPG (before they switched it to the GT350 OPG/pan) and lower compression ration .
Obviously the 4.56's won't work with the KB car since I trap high 140's(looking for low 150's ).
I have toyed around with swapping in a 4.56 pumpkin in my GT 350 to see how it feels .....I was going to strap on a whipple(sitting in boxes since feb) but now getting cold feet .

When I did my Magum swap XL (2.66 first gear ) swap in my KB car I kept the 3.31's I had with my MT82 .
Now that was a slug on the street ...but it allowed me to stay in third gear up to 148 mph with a 27 inch tire.
I thought one less shift would increase my chances of going 9's but it was...

Thinking of doing the same(mine is a lowly tech pack) especially if the GT 500 is "only" going to be a supercharged 5.2.-Probably will have the 5.2 alluminator XS with lowered compression/TVS 2650.
Not sure it's enough to give up my other 2 15 GT's...

It now uses the GT 350 oil pump and pan (?no billet gears)
That cam part number is the same for the gen 2 cams. M52(gen 2) NOT M52A(gen 1)

5.2 sleeved long block(including GT 350 heads) is about $15K including other engine hardware like ARP head studs/crank gear/OPG/head cooling mod/secondary chains/tensioner bracket/billet dowel pins/brace...
