Posted is a video on a porshe spinning at around 200mph. You can see the car is not stable when he shifts into 5th gear. My friend whom used to have Porsche's, M5's etc said in the porshe anything over 120mph you had to have both hands on the wheel because the front gets so light. We both went...
I did do a lot of track testing so I know it works open tracking and high speed events. I did not do any wind tunnel testing. Paul Brown of Tiger Racing told me he did wind tunnel testing and his similar hood did provide down force. At the time I was on my first design which only lowered the...
I have several mark viii fans for sale. I have used one for over 10 years. I just hooked up bot power wires to the fan with no issues. You will need to fab up some brackets to mount it to your radiator. They are 103.00 shipped to continental US with pp fees included.
I did a test years ago with yard and a camera because i heard the same thing. The results is that our cars do not get any air from the boom below the bumper cover. Think about it, you are doing 100mph, the air is not going to slow down to make a 90 degree turn up and another 90 degree up from 2...
Before i designed and tested the hood i had the LFP heat exchanger , bigger radiator. The environment i tested the cooling system was extreme. I found out that bigger radiator and heat exchanger only allowed the car to run longer but it would go into limp mode too. On the street both the bigger...
I have found out once you get your engine temps in check you oil temps will be in check too. I have an oil cooler in the passenger side fender but honestly i really don't think i need one once i figured out the hood was the key to keeping these cars cool.
Any heat exchanger with more surface area than the stock unit (or after market heat exchangers) will be better. Better only if you can get enough airflow across the whole surface and only if you have a way to get all the air thru the radaitor opening. If you do not have one of my hoods or...
