I honestly think you made the better choice. I had no issues with the bap but I had a fuel issue and to me it made diagnosing it a little more difficult. It ended up being a weak pump.

Bap’s in our cars are usually run wide open into the fpdm’s. The fpdm’s adjust how much voltage goes to the pumps. They will require tuning. I have run the kB 20.5 volt with no issues 25k+ miles. Currently running aeromotive stealth 340’s without a bap. The hat will require cutting and a little...
